Reform of Library Science university education

The Agencia Nacional de Evaluación de la Calidad y Acreditación (ANECA) has published the Libro Blanco Título de grado en Información y Documentación, future Spanish university degree on Information Science, that will include the former “Diplomatura en Biblioteconomía y Documentación” y “Licenciatura en Documentación”.This publication contains all the documents of the process carried out for the adaptation of university teaching to the Espacio Europeo de Educación Superior.
After this document they expected the approval of the orders that would make official the guidelines proposed by the working group of the educative reform, being present the representatives of the Spanish universities in which the titulations of Library and Information Studies were taught. In the documents section of ANECA reports on the new educative system can be consulted.
